The shop's new-in batch of world coins is selling well. It's always a surprise to us that foreign visitors buy modernish coins from their own countries.

Some more tasty chemistry and science-history books were put out Friday morning. Many of the computer software items were priced down to 50p and re-shelved in the bargain ginnel. Lots of chunky law books (publ. circa 2008) were put at 50p. this morning, Saturday.

CDs and LPs have sold well all Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

Philosophy and Theology sold well Friday afternoon and have bounced on into Saturday morning.

Andrew did the DJ's job at friends Heather and Colin's wedding at Meols Hall yesterday, Friday. I believe he'll be at the Rugby Club do today also. It's a tough life for some.

Sunday 1st. July sees us at home, with son Andrew running the shop. Day off ? No. There's a big pile of scrap wood to be cut up for Winter. Fun with the chain-saw will take up most of the afternoon. 'Can't start early morning, of course, as many of the neigbours will be sleeping-in. ... Taken From Today's Home Page Jottings.
